Visit to the High School of the Pacific, Kona, Hawaii!

We were met with a warm welcome by students and staff. This private school, grades 9&10 hosts approximately 50 children from the surrounding Polynesian islands. They are all eager to learn, beginning their day at 4:00 am, and finishing by 8:30 pm. The school day formally begins at 8:30 am and ends at 4:40 pm, but students living in the dorms continue their leadership, ethics, and teamwork throughout the day.
